  • Maintain skin's moisture: Padina Pavonica is a marine algae known for its visible anti-ageing benefits. It's rich in water-attracting molecules that help maintain moisture within the skin, helping it to feel replumped and hydrated. Skin will look and feel smoother and more radiant.

    Padina Pavonica is a Marine algae hand-picked in an eco-responsible way to ensure it is continually renewed. It’s rich in essential fatty acids and helps to stimulate the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs).

    Glycosaminoglycans are macromolecules that contribute to the retention of water molecules. By stimulating the natural synthesis of GAGs, the skin regains all its elasticity and resistance, helping it to look and feel firmer.

    This complex enhances the natural production of hyaluronic acid and collagen, which are the essential elements needed for firmer, replumped skin. It also optimises cellular communication for targeted efficiency.

    Our Padina has been conserved using jojoba oil which is oxidation-resistant, and also brings additional moisturising benefits to the cream. Excellent at repairing the skin, this oil is the closest match to natural sebum available making it ideal for sensitive skin.

  • Antioxidant protection: Papaya Extract is high in polyphenols and flavonoids. These antioxidants help to protect your skin cells from oxidative damage adding a healthy glow to skin.

    Papaya contains an antioxidant called lycopene. This can help to reduce any damage caused by free radicals, providing a smoother, more youthful complexion. Antioxidants help to improve skin elasticity: reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. In addition to this, Papaya contains vitamins A, C and E which when combined with the ultra-hydrating properties of Papaya, are highly nourishing, providing a healthy glow to the skin.

    Papaya is high in carotenoids, which can help to soothe inflammation, improve overall appearance and can even help to protect skin from UV damage, improving tone and brightness.

  • Skin softening: Argan Oil provides moisture to skin and forms a protective barrier against dehydration.

    An excellent source of basic polyunsaturated fatty acids, Argan Oil contains a high level of oleic acid and linoleic acid and it’s rich in tocopherols, such as vitamin E which deeply nourishes the skin. It is also particularly rich in polyphenols that exhibit significant antioxidant activity.

    Argan Oil has been shown to decrease transepidermal water loss. It can restore the skin’s barrier by improving its ability to retain moisture.

  • Protect the skin barrier: Camellia Oil is rich in proteins and essential fatty acids including oleic acid, to help protect the skin.

    Otherwise known as ‘The Japanese rose’, Camellia is one of the most sought after flowers in Japan. In the past, it has been used as a traditional beauty secret of Geishas, who used it as a go-to beauty treatment to bestow a radiant glow to skin.

    Camellia oil is high in polyphenols. These plant compounds can help with soothing irritated skin, and have antioxidant properties that help to protect the skin. Packed with multiple vitamins including vitamins A, C, D and E which contribute to protecting skin from environmental stressors such as UV light and pollution.

    Being high in fatty acids, it helps the outer layer of the skin to stay healthy and moisturised. Camellia oil in particular is high in oleic acid which helps to calm and rebalance the skin.

    Rich in antioxidants, Vitamin E can help to minimise oxidative damage by eliminating the effects of free radicals. Vitamin E helps to neutralise free radicals, helping your skin to stay in balance. Vitamin E is highly effective at moisturising while also helping to reinforce the skin barrier. Having natural anti-inflammatory properties, this ingredient is ideal for soothing irritated or inflamed skin, as well as healing and repairing, including sun damaged skin or helping to clear scars.
