    Hyaluronic acid is one of the most popular ingredients in skincare: it can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water making it a deeply hydrating substance. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant: it cleverly extracts water from the environment and delivers it to the outer layer of the skin. This keeps skin moisturised and supple for longer. Its ability to trap water makes it effective in replumping and eliminating fine lines that can come from dry or flaky skin.

  • Anti-ageing: Hibiscus and Baobab fruit extracts help to improve the appearance of fine lines around the eye area. A unique complex, it replumps the skin by reducing the effects caused by the natural ageing process, resulting in a rejuvenated complexion.

    Famed for its anti-ageing benefits, Hibiscus maintains the elastin levels in the skin by reducing the ageing effects of elastase: an enzyme that reduces our skin’s natural elastin. Hibiscus is also high in vitamin C: otherwise known as the collagen vitamin. Both of these benefits give Hibiscus its incredible youth-enhancing properties. It’s rich in antioxidants, specifically anthocyanins. These target free radicals, helping to slow down the ageing process as well as providing anti-inflammatory benefits. In addition; it also acts as an effective moisturiser because it contains high amounts of plant mucilage (a fluid found in plants) to help provide moisture to the skin.

    Baobab is extracted from the seeds of the Baobab tree. It’s a vitamin-rich oil that can be used to effectively moisturise the skin. Packed with antioxidants such as vitamin A, E and omega fatty acids, it helps to maintain your skin's outer barrier while deeply moisturising the skin. The antioxidants in Baobab help to main collagen production, preserving skin’s natural elasticity. This in turn helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

  • Nourishment: Shea Butter and Vitamin E contain high concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins, helping to nourish, hydrate and soothe the skin.

    Derived from Shea tree nuts in Africa, Shea Butter is renowned for being high in essential fatty acids, nutrients and antioxidants. With a grand total of no less than five essential fatty acids, it’s extremely beneficial for dry skin in need of a moisture boost. Shea Butter is also known for its ability to help fade scars, as well as treat sun damaged skin. Its calming effects help to soothe irritated skin and even skin allergies.

    Vitamin E is an antioxidant which tackles free-radical damage, while also being ultra-hydrating. This is due to its ability to absorb and trap water in the skin. It can be used to help heal and repair skin: including sun damage and scars.

    Vitamin E can help to minimise the ageing effects of oxidative damage by eliminating free radicals, this is due to its high levels of antioxidants. Oxidative damage can cause stress to the skin, which if over produced can result in cell and tissue damage. Vitamin E is highly effective at moisturising while also helping to reinforce the skin barrier. Its natural anti-inflammatory properties help to soothe the complexion, making it ideal for irritated or inflamed skin.

    Pomegranates are key in fighting free radical damage which can cause ageing. Rich in antioxidants: Pomegranates contain 48% of your daily vitamin C requirements, as well as other antioxidants such as anthocyanins, ellagic acid and tannins. They can help to protect the skin barrier thanks to their ability to renew skin cells and heal any skin damage.

    Key in combating the visible effects of ageing, Red Vine Leaf is rich in antioxidants as well as powerful nutrients, polyphenols and anti-oxidative flavonoids. Red Vine Leaf tones the skin while also being a highly effective skin softener. It contains alpha-hydroxy acids called malic acid which are useful for removing dead skin cells to improve skin's appearance.

  • Brighten & tone: Organic Cucumber works to refresh, hydrate and rejuvenate the under eye area reducing signs of fatigue such as dull and dehydrated skin.

    Cucumbers have long been used as a beauty treatment due to their soothing, anti-inflammatory properties which helps to reduce swelling, as well as irritation. Suitable for all skin types, the gentle cooling benefits are ideally used at the beginning of the day to reduce any morning swelling or puffiness.

    Cucumbers are 96% water making them excellent at hydrating the skin. Without hydration skin can appear dry and flaky, making wrinkles more prominent. They are also packed with vitamins and nutrients providing the skin with plenty of antioxidants to help to fight the ageing process. Cucumbers are renowned for their ability to help with dark undereye circles, as well as dull skin that can be a result of tiredness. Cucumbers offer hydrating and anti-inflammatory properties to help give skin a healthy glow.
