A special form of Hyaluronic Acid

But did you know that regular Hyaluronic Acid molecules are too large to be absorbed through the surface of the skin, and cannot reach the deeper layers where it may be needed most?

Because of that, we only use an active form of Hyaluronic Acid called Sodium Hyaluronate. This form has a smaller molecular size, allowing it to penetrate skin cells more effectively, providing greater levels of hydration12.

The smaller molecule size allows the sodium hyaluronate to reach deeper layers of the skin where it is most needed to provide structural support and spread moisture12.

Over time, the poor metabolism of nutrients such as lack of Biotin in your diet can contribute to undernourished hair follicles, a dull complexion and weak nails.

Biotin is also required for a number of enzymatic reactions within the body, and is necessary for macronutrient metabolism16 aiding the breakdown of protein, fat, and carbohydrates.

How quickly will I notice the benefits?

Depending on your age, your skin cycle time (how long it takes for new skin cells to travel to the uppermost layer of the skin) can be up to 90 days21-22-23.

This means that whilst the ingredients start working their magic from the day you start supplementing, it may take some time for you to notice the benefits externally.

Your hair growth cycle can be summarised as the following stages:

    Anagen phase - hair growth phase that starts in the dermal papilla. 90% of your hair is in this phase at any time and can last from 2-5 years, but is very dependent on the individual24.

  • 2.

    Catagen - this is known as the transitional phase, where the blood supply to the hair root is cut off and hair stops growing. Lasts 2-3 weeks and approximately 1% of your hair will be in this phase at any one time25.

  • 3.

    Telogen - the resting hair remains in the follicle until it is pushed out by the growth of new anagen hair. Around 5% to 10% percent of all your hairs are in the telogen phase at any given moment25.

  • 4.

    Exogen phase - hair shedding phase; majority of hair shedding occurs during the exogen phase to give way to new hair follicles in the anagen phase26. We lose 50-100 hairs every day as a result.

It’s important to be patient, as these cycles are considerably long. So even though the gummies will be working from the get go, it will take time to visibly see a difference.
