Chondrocytes are primary cells within cartilage, they are responsible for regenerating and repairing the cartilage matrix, which is comprised of Type 2 Collagen⁴. Feel Pro Collagen^® Type 2 has been proven to activate up to 50% of the Type 2 Collagen found within the cartilage matrix and therefore influences joint repair¹.
Joint mobility
Chondroitin and hyaluronic acids are natural compounds found within cartilage. Both components provide lubrication in the joints to improve elasticity and function, while reducing joint stiffness⁵. Pro Collagen^® Type 2 has been shown to stimulate the secretion of chondroitin and hyaluronic acid to improve overall joint mobility¹. In a clinical trial, 10 adults consumed a daily 5g dose of VeCollal^® Type 2 for 3 months. By week 12, 44% reduction in joint pain, 67% reduction in joint stiffness and 61% difference in physical function¹.
Healthy bones
Proven to aid the replication of mesenchymal stem cells by 30%¹. These stem cells further differentiate into various cells including Osteoblasts. Collagen is a protein made from amino acids. As we are at the forefront of innovation, we use bioengineering to create an amino acid profile that the body recognises almost identically to your own natural collagen².

The amino acids in our vegan collagen are derived mainly from fermentation processes. A process used to produce many super-foods and other healthy foods we eat and drink regularly, like live yoghurt, kefir and kombucha.

Naturally occurring glucose found in vegetables and plants is fermented using specific good bacteria to produce amino acids identical to those found in your body’s collagen. Once we have these amino acids, they're blended in the exact ratio found in human Type 2 Collagen which is found within cartilage and bone².
