Maca trends in medicine

In 2020, a new scientific review investigating the potential benefits of maca determined that this substance shows promise for the regulation of sexual dysfunction and that it may exert neuroprotective and antioxidant effects. Also in 2020, a Chinese lab study showed that maca may prevent organ atrophy caused by an underactive immune system by bolstering the body’s concentration of white blood cells.
