Is vegan protein as effective as non-vegan protein?

Despite being plant-based, pea is considered a ‘complete’ protein, and is a great source of branched chain amino acids (BCAAs), essential for health-supportive functions throughout the body. Research has shown that plant-based dairy-free proteins, including pea and soy proteins, can provide protein characteristics that closely reflect those of animal based proteins,⁴ meaning they’re as effective at supporting your protein intake and providing additional health benefits as non-vegan proteins.

We’ve included hydrolysed pea protein, meaning it’s partly digested to yield faster digestion and absorption, making it perfect for post workout to kickstart your recovery.

As we’ve used a pea and soy protein blend, our protein bars are perfect for anyone with a sensitivity to dairy, resulting in less gas, bloating, and other uncomfortable feelings associated with non plant-based proteins.
