Food banks do integral and amazing work, did you know that there’s roughly 2,000 food banks in the country, who have handed out 1.6 million food parcels over the past year?*
The UK’s largest food bank charity, the Trussell Trust, estimates that around 590,000 different people used their services in 2016/17, which highlights just how many people rely on donated food to get by - a troubling statistic.
Due to the nature of food banks, fresh food is rarely provided, with most food packages containing tinned or dried non-perishable goods, such as cereal, pasta, soup, fruit juice and biscuits, which are traditionally low in nutrients. We’d like to do our bit to help, and as a multivitamin brand, we’re in a unique position to deliver a product that will enhance a food bank’s offering.
We’re asking members of the public to nominate their local/chosen food bank below, so we can get in touch and offer 50 boxes of our comprehensive multivitamin (a month’s supply), to be handed out along with its food packages.
All we need is a name, and then we’ll do the rest!
Vitamin deficiencies are widely known to be responsible for a host of health problems, such as depression, bone density loss and muscle pain. It’s important that everyone, no matter what their economic circumstances, has access to good nutrition.

Boris Hodakel, founder of WeAreFeel said:
“As a multivitamin brand we’re in a great position to help those who cannot afford to eat a diet that is rich in vital vitamins and minerals. I wish this wasn’t the case, but the sad truth is that thousands of people rely on food banks in the UK, and this is worryingly on the rise. Food banks do integral and amazing work, however because of how they operate the food they provide isn’t necessarily the most nutritious, but this is where we can help! I urge everyone to nominate their local food bank, the more we can donate, the more people we can help.”
